Based on their strictly individual and immutable characters, fingerprints are indispensable tool for
person’s identification. In forensic science, digital pattern families constitute the first level of comparison
between an incriminated digital trace and a suspect fingerprint. Until now in the literature, there was no data on
the distributi(...)

Circulating High-risk HPV Genotypes in the South of Benin and Disparity with General Immunization Target
Marie-Marthe A. Chabi, Callinice D. Capo-Chichi, Théodora M. Zohoncon, Christine Aguemon, Ambaliou Sanni, Jacques Simporé
High-Risk Oncogenic Human Papillomaviruses (HR-HPV) are accountable for 7.7% of
cancers in developing countries, mainly cervical lesions. In Benin, HR-HPV infection in women triggered nearly
781 new cases of cervical cancer each year leading to 616 (79%) deaths. Current vaccines may not cover all
HR-HPV genotypes encountered in West Africa(...)

The Statistical Correlation between Distortion and Adding Signal for PAPR Reduction in OFDM based Communication Systems
Désiré Guel, Boureima Zerbo, Jacques Palicot, Oumarou Sié
In recent past years, PAPR (Peak-to-Average Power Ratio) of OFDM (Orthogonal FrequencyDivision Multiplexing) system has been intensively investigated. Published works mainly focus on how to reduce PAPR. Since high PAPR will lead to clipping of the signal when passed through a nonlinear amplifier. This paper proposes to extend the work related(...)

Mathematical analysis of toxin-phytoplankton-fish model with self-diffusion and cross-diffusion
Hamidou Ouedraogo, Wendkouni Ouedraogo, Boureima Sangaré
In this paper we propose a nonlinear
reaction-diffusion system describing the interaction
between toxin-producing phytoplankton and fish
population. We analyze the effect of self- and
cross-diffusion on the dynamics of the system. The
existence, uniqueness and uniform boundedness of
solutions are established in the positive octant. The(...)
