MANO, Komandan, Paténéma SAWADOGO, Yamba SINARE, Patricia SOUBEIGA, Rimwaodo Pierre SILGA, Magloire BOUNGOU, and Awa GNEME
In Burkina Faso, livelihoods rely strongly on the primary sector such as livestock farming. Owing to their high reproductive potential, rapid growth, and relatively low production costs, rabbit farming appeared increasingly as a sustainable source of income and animal protein. However, rabbits are frequently affected by parasitic infections, w(...)

Introduction: Hibiscus sabdariffa L. is an economically important and widely adopted crop in Burkina Faso. Yet its production is constrained by the lack of improved, locally adapted varieties. This study used a participatory variety selection approach to identify preferred landraces and selection criteria across two agroecological zones: Sudan(...)

Implementation of an Innovative Method in the Field Of Social Choice Theory Based on the Geometric Mean
Zoïnabo Savadogo, Younoussa Sare, Elisée Gouba
Social choice theory, also known as voting methods theory, studies the mechanisms for aggregating individual preferences within a group into a collective decision. Among classical approaches, approval voting stands out for its simplicity and interesting theoretical properties. With the aim of improvement, particularly in terms of consensus and(...)

Dengue outbreaks have occurred in Burkina Faso since 2013, but the country experienced its first chikungunya outbreak in Pouytenga in 2023. Thus, a field investigation was undertaken to determine entomological risk factors associated with the chikungunya outbreak to inform decision-making and respond to the outbreak. Dried mangoes are an essential socio-economic resource in Chad, with 80% of production done via artisanal solar drying. However, current methods are slow (2 to 3 days) and carried out at low temperatures (30–45∘C), which promotes microbial proliferation and alters product quality. The objective of this study is to evaluate production and sales(...)

Food insecurity and malnutrition remain major challenges in Niger, where protein-
rich crops are critically needed. Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) is recognized as
a strategic legume due to its high protein content (typically 35–45%) and valuable
techno-functional properties reported in the literature. However, local accessions and

Arboviral diseases such as dengue, chikungunya, and yellow fever are major public health concerns in Africa, with
Aedes aegypti as the primary vector. Insecticide-based interventions remain the cornerstone of vector control,
but their effectiveness is increasingly compromised by the evolution of resistance. Monitoring resistance

The neurobiological mechanisms differentiating bipolar disorder type I (BD-I) from type II (BD-II) remain poorly understood. A comprehensive synthesis systematically comparing neuroimaging findings between BD subtypes is lacking. We conducted a systematic review (PubMed, Scopus, up to March 2024), including structural MRI, functional MRI, and(...)
