Résumé

There are currently rather few catalogues of rotational velocity of FGK-type stars, based on high resolution spectra. This paper aims to present a method for determining the rotational velocities of cool stars previously parameterised by the AMBRE Project. The goal of ths article is to present an automatic methode to estimate the stellar rotation rate from their spectra. We remind that stellar rotation broadens the spectral lines. Our analysis focuses on deriving the coupling constant between the width of the spectral lines and the stellar rotation that broaden them. For that purpose, we developed a specific calibration method based on the cross-correlation function between stellar spectra and specific masks. It is first applied to archived data collected with the ESO Fiber-fed Extended Range Optical Spectrograph (FEROS).
