Résumé

Burkina Faso, like many other countries, is witnessing a progressive degradation of natural resources,
particularly soils. Agroecology emerges as an alternative to agricultural, food, and environmental challenges. However, despite the institutional and policy achievements made in agroecological transition in Burkina Faso, the intervention of various stakeholders in the field remains problematic. Given these constraints and considering the importance of agroecology in development projects in Burkina Faso, this study analyzes the implementation process of public policies related to agroecology in the municipality of Léna. The methodology is based on a qualitative approach. Data collection was done using an interview guide. NVIVO and Excel software were used for data processing and analysis. The results show that several socio-professional actors are involved in promoting agroecology in the municipality of Léna. However, there are shortcomings in the territorialization of public policies, including a lack of knowledge about existing texts on agroecology among some actors, insufficient state funding for agroecology, land issues, and the absence of a common vision on agroecology.
