La thématique traitée est d’actualité et d’une importance capitale en matière de développement du secteur agricole et de l’approvisionnement en eau potable des populations dans un milieu fortement impacté par des conditions climatiques de plus en plus défavorables. Les travaux de recherche en lien avec la thématique impliquent un effort considérable de mesures terrains, de simulations des comportements Sol/Eau/Plante afin de proposer des technologies agricoles voir des aménagements de terrain adaptés et résilients face au climat futur.
