Résumé
Strains resistant to third-generation cephalosporins are now emerging. Several authors reported an increased prevalence and diversity of ESBLs in the CTX-M family worldwide [5]. In recent years several studies have described the emergence of ESBL-producing Salmonella strains harboring the CTX-M9 gene worldwide [6]. However, to our knowledge, no study has reported any case of ESBL-producing Salmonella strains harboring the CTX-M9 gene in Burkina Faso.
