Résumé

he purpose of the study carried out at the piscicultural station of Bagré Pôle (Burkina Faso) was to
compare the effect of the various types of diets with base of proteins on the growth and survival of Tilapia.
Methodology and Results: The tilapia juveniles of an initial average weight of 110 grams distributed in duplicate
in 4 catchers, were feed with four foods fortified with crude protein. The rates of dry matter, humidity, crude
proteins, fat content, ashes and crude fibre of diet were determined by AOAC (1999). Principal results show that RA1 and RA3 contain strong contents of rough proteins and a rate of survival of the tilapia equal to 100%.
The final average weights observed are 152.15 g for RA1, 141.62g for RA2 and 139 g for RA4.
Conclusion and application of results: diets high in crude protein are thought to be responsible for good growth
and survival of tilapia. Diets (RA1 and RA3) show the best growth performance. Hence a reformulation of the
diet RA1 (control) that will reduce the cost of production and accessibility to the average fish farme
