Résumé

Yellow nutsedge, Cyperus esculentus L. is a herbaceous species whose tubers are the edible parts. However, the yellow nutsedge of Burkina has not been the subject of agronomic characterization study. The agronomic performance of the species is still unknown. In order to know the agronomic variability of the species, an agronomic characterization was carried out in Dalgane following a Fisher block design with three repetitions and completely randomized. The study also showed that all agronomic characteristics discriminate the accessions at the 1% threshold. The coefficient of determination R2 is very high for all the accessions. The study of the organization of the diversity gives a distribution of the accessions in four groups of which group IV is made up of accessions of wild yellow nutsedge. Comparative analysis of accessions according to ethnicity revealed a significant difference for 64.29% of agronomic characters. The agronomic variability of the species in Burkina is very high.
