Background: Microangiopathy is classically associated with poor glycemic control and the duration of diabetes.
Aim: The purpose of our study was to determine the prevalence of nephropathy (DN) with proteinuria and retinopathy
(DR), and associated factors in a cohort of type 2 diabetics (T2DM)
followed at Bobo-Dioulasso teaching hospital.
Method: This was a cross-sectional study for analytical purposes using the ambulatory follow-up database for diabetics in the internal medicine ward between October 2020 and September 2022.
